Cladding is a complicated issue effecting hundreds of thousands of properties. Whether you’re an estate agent, lettings agent or developer, you need to be clued up.

Theresa Wallace, Director at Savills and chair of The Lettings Industry Council leads the working group industry meetings to discuss how agents should be dealing with cladding in terms of CPR’s and health and safety responsibilities.

About the speakers:

Theresa Wallace joined Savills in 2002 to establish a Lettings Department within the Sevenoaks office having previously run her own Residential Lettings Company in Sevenoaks for 10 years. By 2004 Theresa was overseeing all of the Savills Southern Region Lettings departments. In 2006 she joined the Savills Lettings Board and in 2009 she was invited to join the Divisional Council Board for the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) having been a regional representative for ARLA in the South East for 6 years. She is a fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, a fellow of the Association of Residential Agents and holds the certificate in Residential Lettings and Management. In January 2012 she took over the role of Head of Compliance and Customer Relations for Savills Residential Lettings Division.

In 2014 she co-founded The Lettings industry Council (TLIC) whose aim is to see standards continue to rise across the lettings sector, to encourage collaboration across the industry providing one voice and to see the regulation of the industry.
