I’ve been spending the first few weeks in my new role talking to, listening to and learning from letting agents around the country. One thing that’s clear is that you’re busier than ever. I thought it would be useful to share some of the ways that agents are using some Rightmove features to save precious time.

Use video to cut down on unnecessary viewings
Some letting agents have told me that as many as 25% of their lets are now completed without a physical viewing. This has led to some agents carrying out less than one viewing per let and has given them a lot of time back. Showing videos that highlight both the good and bad points of a property helps to determine a tenant’s genuine interest before a viewing.
Order references from within your CRM
Many lettings teams are still logging in to separate platforms to order, track and retrieve references. If you are, then Rightmove referencing could be a quick and easy time saver. It’s integrated with major CRMs including Reapit, Jupix, Dezrez, agentOS, Acquaint, VTUK and Veco, meaning there’s no need to re-enter an applicant’s information that’s already in your CRM when you need to order a reference.
Get new joiners up to speed with minimal effort
I know from having run a business that training people is a huge time investment. Use it to save time and supplement the face-to-face training you give your new joiners.
