Your 3-step branding health check

For 88% of home movers, Rightmove is the first place they go when thinking about buying, selling, letting, or renting*. That means there’s a good chance their first impression of your brand is on Rightmove. And we all know that first impressions matter, especially in a competitive market.

To make sure your brand is making a great first impression, here’s three items on Rightmove we recommend reviewing regularly:

1 – Your brand logo

Your logo appears across all your Rightmove listings, including in email alerts, and on products like Sold By Me, Local Valuation Alert and Discover – it’s like your digital board on Rightmove. To build brand awareness, make sure your logo is up to date and high quality.

How to update your logo:

2 – Your branch description

Your branch description appears at the bottom of all your property details pages and your microsite (if you have one). What makes your brand different to other agents in your area? This is your space to let movers know why the should choose you.

How to update your branch description:

  • If you have Account Management permissions in Rightmove Plus, you’ll be able to do this yourself. Simply head to “Branch Marketing” under the “Account Management” heading in the menu bar, then update your description and hit save.
  • If you can’t see this option but you have a microsite – login to Rightmove Plus then visit your microsite on Rightmove and click “edit” to update this yourself.
  • If you’re not able to use these options – send your new branch description and your branch details to customersupport@rightmove.co.uk and we’ll update it for you

3 – Your advert creatives

For your brand marketing activity to be effective it needs to be consistent. If you have Featured Agent or Local Homepage adverts on site, do a quick check on all your search terms to make sure your branding and messaging matches across every touchpoint.

How to update your adverts:

  • Visit the Design Studio Hub to request new artwork, amends to existing artwork or upload your own creatives. Want to give your banners that festive feeling? Request your seasonal banners from our selection of pre-designed templates by 9th December
