Richard Durrant, Lettings Director

Richard is a property professional with 28 years in the estate agency industry, specialising extensively in lettings. Over the course of his career, he has held senior roles, including a decade as Lettings Director and later Managing Director at a well know multi-branch agency.

Richard now advises a wide range of clients, including developers, industry suppliers, a marketing agency, private equity firm, and some of the very best estate agencies in the country. His passion for lettings remains at the heart of his work, and he proudly acknowledges his strong bias towards the sector.

Christian Balshen, Rightmove Director of Agent Partnerships

Christian has many years of experience in the property industry and ran a successful small business, Van Mildert Landlord & Tenant Protection, before joining Rightmove in 2019 as part of its acquisition. Since 2009, Christian has worked with thousands of agents of all sizes, in all regions of the UK, as well as a wide range of suppliers to the industry. His enjoyment of founding and running Van Mildert means that he loves nothing more than talking to agents and sharing stories and experiences about the highs and lows of growing a business.
