The Renting Homes (Wales) Act at Six Months

Webinar recorded live on

The Renting Homes (Wales) Act (RHWA) has been in force for just over six months and the deadline to give full written statements to existing tenants whose tenancies have converted to occupation contracts expired on 1 June. In that time the legislation has already been amended slightly to deal with an uncertainty about changes to parties. Attention will now turn to standards obligations which need to be fulfilled by 1 December and to the inevitable commencement of legal proceedings for possession which are tied to the RHWA.

Discover:

  • Which parts of the legislation have changed and what’s forced these amendments
  • Potential pitfalls with the act that you must know
  • The key things to work on for the rest of the year
