Tenancy Manager updates

While the industry prepares for Renters’ Rights, we’re updating Tenancy Manager behind the scenes, so everything you need for compliant tenancy progressions will be ready and waiting for 1st May.

See a summary of recent updates and forthcoming changes below.

“The Renters’ Rights Act marks a significant shift for the industry, and Rightmove will support agents through this transition.
With Tenancy Manager, agents can stay focused on their customers, confident that every tenancy will remain fully compliant without any additional effort.”

Christian Balshen
Director of Agency Partnerships

Information sheet

Compliant communication, with tenants and landlords, handled for you.

  • Tenancy Manager will automatically send the ‘Information Sheet’ to your active tenants on the 1st May.
  • Rightmove will also send an email to landlords on what to expect from the Renters’ Rights Act.

Assured Tenancy Agreement

Automatically serve the
right contract

  • Tenancy Manager will assign the correct contract type based on the estimated start date.
  • If the start date changes, the system will prevent the wrong contract from being used.
  • Shortly after the government publishes the final wording requirements, our Assured Tenancy will be available to view.

Offer form

The offer form will be updated to comply with all the new requirements, once Assured Tenancies are available in Tenancy Manager

Changes include:

  • Removed tenancy end dates
  • Removed rent periods longer that a month
  • Removed rent in advance
  • Added a student let flag which adds a clause to regain possession under Ground 4A
  • Added a customisable pets clause

Compliant payments

Tenancy Manager has always requested move in monies after the agreement is fully signed.

  • Move in monies are requested securely via the Rightmove renter checklist.
  • As always, the money goes straight to your account. We never hold onto it.

Evidence backed rent reviews

Our Best Price Guide is powered by Rightmove market data and is ready to support every rent review conversation with landlords and tenants.
