Scottish Rent Freeze and Eviction Ban Update + Q&A

The Scottish Government has introduced temporary measures effectively freezing rents and banning evictions until “at least the end of March 2023”.

That’s on top of the other proposed major changes to the Scottish property sector which will start to come to fruition later this year and beyond.

We were joined by Daryl McIntosh who gave us an overview of all the upcoming changes. Daryl was uniquely placed to host this session as he’s been in regular contact with the Government. He’s also been involved with many of the working groups that have been put together to consider legislative and practice changes.
