How to make the most of Featured Property

With 86% of traffic to the top 4 property websites going to Rightmove (Source: Comscore, January 2021), your Rightmove marketing should be a top priority in your plan to find a buyer or tenant quickly. Using Featured Property is the fastest way to increase your exposure on Rightmove and accelerate your results.

Here are three situations where Featured Property can support your marketing strategy for a particular property.

#1 Launching new instructions with maximum impact

Agents wanting to find a buyer or tenant quickly launch their new listings as a Featured Property. This automatically places your property at the top of the Rightmove listings, typically resulting in at least double the detail views of a standard Rightmove listing. Going big from day 1 gives you the best chance of maximising enquiries and filling your diary with viewings straight away.

#2 Showcasing price reductions

If you’re recommending reducing the price of a property to get a sale or let agreed, use Featured Property to maximise its visibility at the new price. It’ll boost the property’s exposure to a whole new audience of buyers or tenants searching in the lower price range, giving you the best chance of getting lots of early viewings booked in.

Top tip: If you reduce the price by 2% or more, it’ll also get sent out again in our email alerts to keen, opted-in applicants looking for properties like yours in that price range.

#3 Relaunching properties after a fall through

If you’ve seen a deal collapse, featuring a property is a great way to let motivated buyers or tenants know that it’s back on the market and to get viewings booked in again as soon as possible. It also reassures your vendor or landlord that you’re doing everything you can to get their transaction moving again, giving you the best chance of keeping the instruction.
