FAQs: NOW NOT CHANGING – How we send you leads and service/security emails


What is happening?

Rightmove sent an email to partners on 25th November 2025 telling you that your leads and service/security emails will soon be sent from a new ‘From’ email address: admin@update.rightmove.co.uk

This change will now NOT be happening. Leads and service/security emails will continue to be sent to you from the same email addresses used currently.

Why is this change no longer happening?

Rightmove’s team found an alternative solution which means the email addresses used to send leads and service/security emails to partners now do NOT need to change.

 

What emails from Rightmove were going to be impacted?

See the table at the bottom of this page. These emails will now NOT be impacted.

 

What had you asked me to do?

Partners that use email rules (based on sender email address) to manage leads or service/security emails from Rightmove were asked to add new email rules using what was going to be the new ‘From’ email address.

We also asked all partners to add what was going to be the new ‘From’ email address to your ‘safe senders’ list in your email system.

 

What do I need to do now the change is not happening?

Partners now do NOT need to add new email rules. If you have already added new email rules, you can now remove those new rules. You should keep your original email rules in place.

You also now do NOT need to add any new email address to your ‘safe senders’ list. If you have already done so, that is not a problem, it is not necessary to undo this, but you can do if you wish.

 

What if I receive Rightmove leads and/or notices through a 3rd party CRM or software system?

Your CRM software provider does NOT need to do anything in relation to this. We are communicating this message to data feed providers.

Emails that Rightmove previously identified would have been impacted by the change. These emails will now NOT be impacted.
