If we emailed you on 6th February about our unsuccessful attempts to make contact with your CRM software provider, then yes, your business stands to potentially be impacted, subject to your provider’s systems.
Your ability to receive leads and/or manage properties via your CRM software is currently at risk.
We need your help as we are eager to speak with your CRM software provider ASAP. Please can you have them contact our Data Feed Team urgently using 01908 712 359 or adfsupport@rightmove.co.uk.
This will allow us to work with them to ensure your business is not impacted.
Yes. If we emailed you on 6th February about us being unable to contact your CRM software provider, then we are struggling to make contact with them and we cannot be confident that they have actioned everything they may need to.
Please do reach out to them as soon as you can and have them contact our specialist Data Feed Team urgently, using 01908 712 359 or adfsupport@rightmove.co.uk
We’re updating our internet protocol (IP) addresses – software providers must update Rightmove’s IP addresses if their systems rely on allow listing Rightmove’s IPs.
6th March 2026 – your CRM software provider must update Rightmove’s IPs in their system by then. We have already extended the deadline from 2025, to help CRM providers to make the change.
Your CRM provider should contact our specialist Data Feed Team urgently, using 01908 712 359 or adfsupport@rightmove.co.uk
We will work with them to ensure you’re not impacted by the changes.
We have been notifying your CRM software provider of these upcoming changes since summer 2025. More recently, and wanting to avoid impact to your business, we have been calling and emailing your CRM software provider as we attempt to have them confirm they have either made the update, or that their systems are not impacted by them.
If your CRM software provider’s systems rely on allow listing Rightmove’s IP addresses and they do not update these by 6th March 2026 you will not be able to upload, edit or remove properties on Rightmove.
Your alternative – you can do this using Rightmove Plus. However, you will need to have the correct permissions. Your Rightmove Plus Admin user for a branch can change permissions. You can contact our Customer Support team if you need to set-up a Rightmove Plus Admin user for a branch. Please read section below ‘What if my CRM software provider makes the changes, but misses the 6th March deadline?’.
If your CRM provider’s systems rely on allow listing Rightmove’s IPs and they don’t make the necessary changes, then you won’t receive leads via your CRM system following 6th March.
Your alternative – We will continue to deliver leads to you via email following 6th March. You can view and update the email address which branch leads are sent to within Rightmove Plus. An Admin user will need to go to ‘Branch Marketing’ and view the ‘About your branch’ contact information. Our Customer Support team can help you access, view or update the email address we send your leads to if you are unsure.
Your ability to receive leads and/or manage properties via your CRM software will be temporarily impacted.
After the 6th March and before your CRM software provider updates their systems, you will not receive leads via your CRM system, you will only receive these via email. Once your CRM software provider has made the necessary changes, your leads will once again deliver to you via your CRM software.
During this period, you will also not be able to manage properties on Rightmove – upload, edit, remove – via your CRM software system. Once your CRM software provider has made the necessary changes, you will once again be able to do this via your CRM software. See the above section ‘What if my CRM software provider doesn’t make the necessary updates?’ for information about managing property listings via Rightmove Plus during this period.
We recommend that you keep the property listings on your CRM software up to date during this period. If your CRM software also manages property listings on your website and other portals, it is likely you will do this anyway. We also recommend that you use the same reference for each property listing in both your CRM system and in Rightmove Plus.
If during the period you have been updating property listings within your CRM software, and the ‘reference’ for each property listing is the same in your CRM software as it is in Rightmove Plus, your listings and the information within them will be up to date when your CRM software has been updated by your provider.
If during the period you have NOT been updating your property listings within your CRM system and you do use the same reference for property listings in both your CRM and in Rightmove Plus; the information in your CRM system will override the information you have updated via Rightmove Plus, once your CRM software provider has made their updates.
If during the period you have been updating your property listings in your CRM but you have not been using the same reference for each property listing in both your CRM system and Rightmove Plus, once your CRM software provider makes their updates, your CRM will create new listings for properties you have already created listings for in Rightmove Plus.
These changes are part of important ongoing efforts to further secure the Rightmove platform and protect your data.
