Propertymark Qualification’s mock exams

Getting ready for your exams and going in to the unexpected can feel daunting. When comes to your knowledge, there are end of unit assessments to give you the confidence you need.

When it comes to the exams, we have put together the following as an introduction to the exam platform, to the type of questions you may be asked and the different styles of questions you might face.

The first three exams are shared units across both sales or lettings. The final exam is where you sit your specialist pathway.

Common units: 

CiPA01- The role of the Property Professional 

CiPA02 – The Practice of a Property Professional

CiPA03 – General Law and Practice for Property Agents- England

Specialist pathway: 

CiPA06 – Residential Lettings, Property Management and Practice- England

CiPA10- Residential Sales – England

 

Your Properymark Qualification exams

Each exam contains 30 questions in a mix of formats, such as multiple choice, drag and drop, matching, and list style. You’ll have 45 minutes to complete each exam.

  • Score 60% to pass
  • 80% for a distinction
  • You must pass all four exams to gain your overall qualification

Preparing for exam day

Before your exam, you’ll need to: 

  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection 
  • Check you have photographic ID to present when requested

If you need additional support , such as extra time for dyslexia, you can request reasonable adjustments directly with Propertymark Qualifications after registering.

You’ll be guided through how to submit supporting information so your requirements can be reviewed and confirmed. 

Technical requirements

Before test day

  • Check accepted forms of ID on your exam programme’s homepage
  • Review study guides and prep materials (but don’t bring them with you!)
  • Complete any required system checks if you’re taking your exam online
  • Plan to arrive early so you can get settled

On test day

  • Be well-rested and eat beforehand
  • Bring the correct ID
  • Read all instructions carefully
  • Take your time and read each question thoroughly
