How we’re improving your final reference report
As part of our wider investment into our services for lettings customers, we’ve been working on a series of improvements to the final report you receive at the end of a reference with Rightmove Landlord and Tenant Services.
The updates to our best-in-class referencing product are part of our wider effort to provide a fully integrated advertising, enquiry management and tenancy progression system, transforming your lettings efficiency and freeing up your time to spend on building your business.
What’s changing:
Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice improvements to the appearance of your final referencing reports that make these reports easier to understand at-a-glance. We’ve also reinforced the technology behind these reports, to provide you with a more robust reference on your tenants.
- Improved protection against fraud – We’ve improved the underlying technology behind some of our affordability checks so they’re more resistant to fraud, meaning you’ll get more reliable tenants.
- Quicker turnaround time for references – We’re confident that you’ll see a noticeable reduction in turnaround time, which will allow you to focus your time with landlords and maintaining your portfolio.
- Easier to understand at-a-glance – With an easy-to-read overview page, our new reports have been designed with a particular focus on highlighting the key info you need to know to determine whether the tenant is suitable or not.
What’s not changing:
Service and human touch. Our friendly team of highly skilled referencing staff will still have personal oversight on all referencing reports, giving you the best chance of securing high quality tenants. And they’ll still be available at the end of the phone whenever you need them.
