We started testing the new-look property listings at the start of August with a small number of visitors. Since then, we’ve been gathering feedback from agents, tenants and landlords, as well as closely monitoring the performance data. We’re happy that the new-look page is outperforming the old page across the board, so it’s here to stay.
Here’s a run-through of some of the top features in your new-look property listings. For ideas on how to make the most out of these, you can check out our new guide to Create the Ultimate Lettings Listing.
Your videos made more discoverable
Tenants and landlords can find your videos and virtual tours among the photos, in the 4th slot of the carousel and the full-screen gallery. Plus, they’ll appear in the 1st slot of the new “mini media” section just above the property description.
Your photos in the spotlight
The three-image carousel gives your photos maximum impact on the page. The full-screen gallery shows your photos at their best, without any cropping, and is scrollable for easier use on mobile devices. Easy navigation between photos and floorplans helps tenants get a real feel for the property.
Your listings, your brand
Not only will your branch details, logo and Microsite Advert (if you have one) stay on screen as tenants and landlords scroll, they’ll also see your branch profile* under the “agent description” heading, giving you more space to promote your services, awards and qualifications.
Now’s a great time to update your property listings to make the most of the new-look page. To help you do that, we’ve created a new guide Create the Ultimate Lettings Listing where you’ll find the latest advice insights and advice to help you get the most out of your new-look lettings listings.
