Failure to do so means you will be committing a criminal offence and subject to a fine of up to £50,000 , up to 6 months imprisonment or both.

    Daryl Mcintosh, Strategic Development Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland, of NAEA Propertymark, joins us to guide you through the regulations in order that you are aware of the requirements to meet your legal obligations as well as being on hand to answer any of questions.
