Following a storied career in the Royal Marines, Alan Chambers led the first British team to walk from Canada to the North pole without any support services.

Over a gruelling seventy days featuring near starvation, a dwindling fuel supply and the worst polar weather recorded in 100 years, the team achieved what many thought was impossible.
